My artwork is about the complexity of life, the universe, and everything. It is a search for meaning; it is a theoretical attempt to establish systems of translation to find order in the chaos, (or, bring chaos to the order) of natural phenomena.
In my project, I am positioning myself as the composer, and although my drawings originate from my mind, they aren't really original. Using a montage of motifs found in nature, I am theoretically devising a system for translating the building blocks of life into “music”. In other words, I am trying to make the “music of the spheres” heard.
